CALL TO PRESS: Forward Plan of Constituency Diary: Thursday and Friday 15th-16th March

On the evening of Thursday 15th March, Graham will attend the Into Somerset Ambassador's dinner at the Swan Hotel, Wells. Into Somerset is the 'inward investment vehicle for Somerset' and will be meeting business leaders, MPs and Councillors to discuss how ongoing investment in broadband and transport is making Somerset a better place for business investment.

Graham has been involved in a series of meetings with the European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes to bring more money for high speed broadband to Somerset as the European Commission targets all homes to have 30 megabite per second speed (Mbps) internet by 2020.

On Friday 16th March, Graham has a series of meetings and events with constituents in Somerset and Dorset.

10am: Meeting Year 10 business studies pupils at East Bridgwater School

11:45am: Meeting Visit Somerset in Taunton

12:30pm: Taunton Liberal Democrats lunch event, Somerset County Cricket Club

14:45: Meeting co2balance in Taunton to discuss the new European Union Emissions Trading Scheme legislation.

17:00: Liberal Democrat member's event in Lyme Regis.
