www.alde.eu : European Liberals and Democrats launch new website6.02.23pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 25th Oct 2006 Today in Strasbourg, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, the 90 strong political group in the centre of the European Parliament, will formally launch its new website, together with the new EU domain name. Graham Watson, ALDE group leader said: "We are living in a time of rapid evolution in information and communication technologies. Europe and its political families must keep pace with the demands of internet users and all those who seek up-to date and attractively presented news and information." "The new site is fresh, colourful and packed with information for all levels of public interest. I hope it will be of benefit to all those interested in EU policy developments and the role of Liberals and Democrats in shaping those policies."
