Graham Watson MEP, Sir Menzies Campbell MP and Chris Davies MEP meeting in Brussels recently

Welcoming the announcement of Sir Menzies Campbell's victory, Graham Watson, the South West and Gibraltar Lib Dem MEP and Leader of the European Liberal Democrats said:

"It is good for the party for a clear winner to emerge from this contest. Congratulations to Ming Campbell and his team.

I hope the party will now unite behind Ming to secure the electoral victories which are well within our grasp."
